Low-cost carrier HK Express says it will waive the fare difference for changing flights to Osaka in Japan, following disruptions due to cyclone Jebi.

Kansai International Airport has resumed partial operations, the carrier says.

Flights between Hong Kong and Osaka are suspended until October 10.

Those booked on affected flights can choose to change their travel schedule departing within two months from the original departure schedule, or change to a new route of HK Express network departing within two months from the original departure schedule. It not they can seek a full fare refund. For the first and second option, the fare difference will be waived and a one-time change can be made free of charge.
