Macau's casino business future lies in non-gambling related operations, Wynn Macau (1128) chairman Allan Zeman said.
Wynn Macau is working on two sites near Wynn Palace and planning to develop non-gaming facilities, while the design is being discussed, he said.
Citing casino resorts in Las Vegas as an example, Zeman said that about 60 percent of revenue is generated from non-gambling activities. Macau could take that as a reference to attract not only gamblers, but also more visitors.
Also, non-gambling business such as exhibitions and museums could offer more job opportunities, said Zeman, adding that technology will play a part in new plans.
