Index Complier MSCI will in June include 222 large cap A shares in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
But Zhu says capital will not flow back into the mainland, given that institutional investors still favor Asia, especially Hong Kong.
In 2018, China's economy will be mainly driven by consumption, Zhu says. She forecast 6.5 percent GDP growth for the year.
Responding to concerns over the US-Sino trade spat, she says the high level rhetoric will linger for three to six months. She reckons there will be negotiations in the end.
