Youths arriving from Malaysia face heroin trafficking charge

A 19-year-old man and 16-year-old woman who arrived in Hong Kong from the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur carrying heroin worth HK$1.1 million have been jointly charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts tomorrow, Customs said.

The youths landed at Hong Kong International Airport on March 11. They were arrested after four packets of heroin were found concealed in their shoes.
