Former England and Liverpool soccer player Jamie Carragher who has been condemned by Sky Sports for spitting at a teenage girl from his car has struggled to explain his disgusting attack considering he also has a young daughter.

In an interview, Sky Sports asks him to respond how he would react if his own daughter had been spat on.

"I've got a daughter exactly the same age and it’s difficult to find the words I’d use on how I’d react to that or what I’d say to that person if I ever bumped into that person or something. The way that father sees is daughter, the way I see his daughter, that’s my biggest regret. Again, all I can do right now is apologise as much as possible. Hopefully they accept that and I’d like to apologise again for that if possible,'' he says to the interviewer.

Carragher has admitted his "disgusting'' action and apologized. The Liverpudlian has been suspended as an English soccer commentator at Sky Sports.
