More Chinese companies join HKMA infrastructure funding arm

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Infrastructure Financing Facilitation Office announced today that nine new entities have joined as partners.

They are: Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Corporation; China Communications Construction Company; China Datang Corporation; China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group; China Energy Engineering Corporation; China Huadian Hongkong Company; Taikang Asset Management Company; Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America, and

Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Company.

1. This brings the total number of partners to 87, the HKMA said. The IFFO was set up in July 2016 to facilitate infrastructure investments and financing.
